The present invention provides a finished faced insulation system for use where a reduced thickness is desired for interior basement applications for walls not requiring thermal insulation (non-thermal gradient walls) and for the interior of basement walls where thermal insulation is required (thermal gradient walls). The insulation system of the present invention is also suitable for use on masonry walls, frame construction walls, and combined construction walls (knee-walls). The insulations system (30) provides an insulative core (32) having a first surface and a second surface, said first surface being suitable for exposure to an interior of a room, said second surface being suitable for being placed adjacent a wall; a decorative facer (36) adhered to said first surface; and a structural facer (35) adhered to said second surface.
La présente invention concerne un système d'isolation de surface finie destiné à être utilisé lorsqu'on souhaite avoir une épaisseur désirée, pour des murs ne nécessitant pas d'isolation thermique (murs à gradient non thermique) dans des applications de sous-sol et pour l'intérieur de murs de sous-sol nécessitant une isolation thermique (murs à gradient thermique). Le système d'isolation selon la présente invention est également approprié pour être utilisé dans des murs de pierre, des murs de construction d'ossature et des murs de construction mixte (murs bas). Le système d'isolation (30) comprend une âme isolante (32) comportant des première et deuxième surfaces, ladite première surface étant appropriée pour être exposée à l'intérieur d'une pièce, ladite deuxième surface étant appropriée pour être placée adjacente à un mur; un parement décoratif (36) qui est prévu sur la première surface à laquelle il adhère, et un parement structurel (35) qui est prévu sur la deuxième surface à laquelle il adhère.
