ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wheeled articulated steering construction machine, such as mechanical shovel, bulldozer or the like, has a hydraulic suspension of the wheel axles which are carried by pivoting levers. Between the pivoting levers and the vehicle bodywork fluid cylinders are articulately mounted on said vehicle parts. The fluid cylinders are double acting and are connected to at least one transverse stabilizing valve that communicates with an associated constant load damper (5).
