Improvement of a safety lock for a tractor hitch (see CA 2437842) consisting of a safety device (20) having a tab (34) that holds in place a shear pin (30) which connects the clevis tongue end to the tractor drawbar, and of which the tab is held in the closed position above the pin by a rocking catch (36). There is a notch (100) in the tab (34) that allows the rocking catch (36) to also hold the tab in the open position. This improvement makes it easier to hitch the trailer after the tractor is moved. Also, a dual-function secondary tab (96) is added behind the primary tab, holding the pin in place when it is tightened and locking the tab in the closed position when required. 1

Une amélioration d'une barrure de sécurité pour attache de tracteur (voir CA 2437842) consistant d'un dispositif de sécurité (20) comprenant une palette (34) permettant de maintenir en place un tourillon de cisaillement (30) qui retient la main double d'une remorque attachée à une barre de tire d'un tracteur, et dont la palette est maintenue en position fermée, au-dessus du tourillon, par un loquet basculant (36). Une encoche (100) est pratiquée dans la palette (34) afin de permettre au loquet basculant (36) de retenir aussi la palette en position ouverte. Cette amélioration permet de faciliter l'attachement de la remorque après le déplacement du tracteur. De plus, une palette secondaire (96) ayant deux rôles est ajoutée derrière la palette primaire, retenant le tourillon en place lorsqu'il est serré et barrant la palette en position fermée lorsque nécessaire. 1
