An electrochromic device having front and rear spaced elements. The rear surface of the front element includes a layer of transparent conductive material disposed thereon. The front surface of the rear element includes a layer of metal. The device includes a seal member bonding the front and rear spaced elements in a spaced-apart relation to define a chamber containing an electrochromic medium. The seal member includes a sealing system and glass beads having an average diameter that is less than 2/3 of the dimension of the space between the front and rear elements.

La présente porte sur un dispositif électrochromique muni d'éléments espacés avant et arrière. La surface arrière de l'élément avant inclut une couche de matériau conducteur transparent disposé sur celle-ci . La surface avant de l'élément arrière inclut une couche de métal.
