An improved rock picker system includes a prime mover, with an operator's cab and towing apparatus; windrows detachably and foldingly mounted to the prime mover front; a collector; a separator; a transfer apparatus; a dump trailer detachably connectable to the prime mover towing apparatus; an hydraulic power supply in fluid communication with the hydraulic loads; and, controls for controlling the hydraulic power supply and hydraulic loads individually. Controls includes a plurality of remotely operated hydraulic control valves corresponding to the hydraulic loads and a control panel in electrical communication with the remotely operated hydraulic control valves, and speed controllers for controlling the speed of the hydraulic loads.
