The invention relates to a screen frame adapted for use in a shaker to separate solids from a liquid/solid mixtureand to which woven wire mesh is to be attached, comprising an outer perimeter and a plurality of plastics ribs extending between opposing regions of the perimeter, the plastics ribs together forming an upper face and a lower face, wherein the frame further comprises at least one metal rib extending between opposing regions ofthe perimeter and extending from the upper face to the lower face, and to a shaker comprising at least one such screen frame.

Linvention concerne un cadre de tamis adapté pour être utilisé dans un agitateur afin de séparer des solides dun mélange liquide/solide. Un grillage tissé doit être fixé au cadre qui est doté d'un périmètre extérieur et dune pluralité de nervures en plastique sétendant entre des zones opposées du périmètre, les nervures en plastique formant ensemble une face supérieure et une face inférieure, le cadre comprenant en outre au moins une nervure métallique sétendant entre des zones opposées du périmètre et sétendant de la face supérieure à la face inférieure, et un agitateur comprenant au moins un tel cadre de tamis.
