A snow gun including a hollow moulded body provided with a pressurized water inlet channel (2) leading to a mixing chamber (16) which ends in an outlet nozzle (17), and a compressed air inlet channel (3) leading to an injector (14) arranged at the inlet of said mixing chamber in the middle of the water inlet. Said gun comprises a ring-shaped nozzle (18) for supplying secondary compressed air, surrounding the primary air/water mixture. The nozzle (18) and the injector (14) have a common compressed air supply. In said device, expansion of the secondary air at the outlet of the nozzle accelerates the formation of seeding crystals whereby the formation of snow is faster and more thorough in the main water jet.
Le canon à neige comprend un corps creux moulé qui est muni d'une tubulure (2) d'arrivée d'eau sous pression prolongée par une chambre de mélange (16) qui se termine par une buse d'éjection (17), une tubulure (3) d'arrivée d'air sous possion prolongée par un injecteur (14) qui est logé à l'entrée de ladite chambre de mélange au centre de l'arrivée d'eau. Il comporte, autour de la buse d'éjection (17), une tuyère annulaire (18) d'amenée d'air secondaire sous pression qui enveloppe le mélange d'eau et d'air primaire. La tuyère (18) et l'injecteur (14) comportant une arrivée commune d'air sous pression. Un tel dispositif permet par la détente de l'air secondaire en sortie de la tuyère, d'accélérer la formation de cristaux d'ensemencement qui permettent une formation de neige plus rapide et plus complète au niveau du jet principal d'eau.
