An improved solenoid (38) and reset pin (40) for a modular display apparatus (10) for displaying indicia at a front thereof having a frame for rotationally mounting a plurality of pixels (20). Each pixel (20) includes first and second display faces (60, 62) joined along respective adjacent edges. A triggering mechanism has a plurality of solenoids (38) adapted for selective actuation to rotate selected ones of the pixels (20) for changing the pattern of the desired display indicia and a plurality of reset pins (40) to return the pixels to an original position. The reset pins (40) and the plungers for the solenoids (38) include a spring (5) and a rod (6) extending axially outwards from spring (5) to provide radial flexibility.

L'invention concerne un solénoïde (38) et une broche de réinitialisation (40) améliorés pour un appareil d'affichage modulaire (10) servant à afficher des signes sur une partie frontale de celui-ci. L'appareil comporte une structure servant à monter de façon rotative plusieurs pixels (20). Chaque pixel (20) comporte deux faces d'affichage (60, 62) jointes suivant des côtés adjacents respectifs. Un mécanisme de déclenchement comporte plusieurs solénoïdes (38) conçus pour être actionnés de façon sélective afin de faire tourner des pixels (20) sélectionnés, en vue de modifier le motif de signes d'affichage voulu; et plusieurs broches de réinitialisation (40) servant à remettre les pixels en position initiale. Les broches de réinitialisation (40) et les noyaux plongeurs des solénoïdes (38) comportent un ressort (5) et une tige (6) s'étendant axialement en avant à partir dudit ressort (5) pour conférer une flexibilité radiale.
