A novel solid pharmaceutical dosage formulation of hydrophobic drugs is disclosed, which provides enhanced dissolution and improved bioavailability. The hydrophobic drug is deposited electrostatically on the base substrate. The dosage form may include any pharmaceutically acceptable additive, disposed within a carrier that is segregated from, but in contact with, the deposit. Figure No. 1 depicts an isometric view of a product comprising a strip package containing a plurality of unit forms in accordance with the prior art.
L'invention concerne une nouvelle formulation solide de médicaments hydrophobes qui assure une dissolution et une biodisponibilité améliorées. La formulation comprend ce qui suit: un substrat de base contenant un premier polymère; un dépôt comprenant une quantité thérapeutique d'un médicament hydrophobe, déposé sur le substrat de base; un substrat de revêtement comprenant un deuxième polymère, le substrat de revêtement recouvrant le dépôt et étant collé au substrat de base par un lien qui entoure le dépôt; et une certaine quantité d'un surfactant améliorant la dissolution, placée à l'intérieur d'un excipient qui est séparé d'avec le dépôt mais reste en contact avec lui. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, la forme posologique peut comprend n'importe quel additif acceptable pharmaceutiquement, déposé à l'intérieur d'un excipient qui est séparé d'avec le dépôt mais reste en contact avec lui. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, le médicament hydrophobe est déposé électrostatiquement sur le substrat de base.
