The invention relates to an improved stereoselective heterogenous catalytic reductive amination between ethyl 2-oxo-4-phenylbutyrate and alanylproline using hydrogen, a catalyst and one or more additives to produce the ACE inhibitor, enalapril.

L'invention concerne un procédé stéréoselectif amélioré pour réaliser une amination de réduction catalytique hétérogène entre 2-oxo-4-phénylbutyrate d'éthyle et alanylproline. Le procédé met en oeuvre de l'hydrogène, un catalyseur et un ou plusieurs additifs pour produire l'enalapril, inhibiteur de l'enzyme de conversion (ACE).
