Copolymers of ethylene and alpha olefins that have been formed by the polymerization reaction in the presence of a single site catalyst, such as a metallocene, are used to form collapsible dispensing containers and/or components thereof. Blends of the copolymers with propylene polymers are disclosed and used to form a body wall layer or a collapsible dispensing container head having good bond strength with a body wall layer formed of an ethylene polymer. Methods for improving the adhesion between collapsible dispensing container components, such as between body wall layer formed of an ethylene polymer and another body wall layer formed of a propylene polymer, or between a body wall layer formed of an ethylene polymer and a collapsible dispensing container head formed of a propylene polymer, are also disclosed.

L'invention concerne des copolymères d'éthylène et des alpha oléfines obtenus par réaction de polymérisation en présence d'un catalyseur à site unique, du type métallocène, utilisés dans la fabrication de contenants de distribution repliables et/ou de composants pour ce type de contenant. L'invention concerne des mélanges entre ces copolymères et des polymères de propylène, utilisés pour fabriquer une couche de paroi de corps ou une tête de contenant de distribution repliable, qui présentent une bonne résistance d'adhésion avec une couche de paroi de corps en polymère d'éthylène. L'invention concerne également des procédés permettant d'améliorer l'adhésion entre des composants pour le type de contenant considéré, par exemple entre une couche de paroi de corps en polymère d'éthylène et une autre couche de paroi de corps en polymère de propylène, ou entre ladite couche en polymère d'éthylène et une tête de contenant de distribution repliable en polymère de propylène.
