A system of interconnected cold-rolled, light-gauge-metal structural members comprising the bearing walls for low and medium high-rise buildings, the system comprising an elongated lower support track of cold-rolled light- gauge-metal supporting a plurality of elongated metal studs, structural loads on the studs being transferred to the support tracks through the shear strength of crimps on overlapping portions of the tracks and studs, as opposed to direct bearing of the studs on the track.
