An anchor for a post-tension system (30) has an anchor body (32) with an internal wedge-receiving cavity (36). The cavity (36) has a first portion (54) of constantly diminishing diameter extending inwardly from one end of the anchor body (32) and a second portion (58) extending inwardly from an opposite end. The first and second portions have a respective angle of taper with respect to the center line (45) of the cavity wherein the angle of taper of the second portion (58) is less than the angle of taper of the first portion (54). The angle of taper of the second portion (58) is less than seven degrees or a negative angle with respect to the center line. The second portion has a radiused edge (47) curving outwardly from the cavity to the opposite end of the anchor body and flushed with the second portion.
Une encre destinée à un système (30) de post-tension présente un corps (32) d'ancre ayant une cavité intérieure (36) recevant des clavettes. La cavité (36) présente une première partie (54) dont le diamètre diminue de façon constante, s'étendant vers l'intérieur depuis une extrémité du corps (32) de l'ancre et une seconde partie (58) s'étendant vers l'intérieur depuis une extrémité opposée. Les première et seconde parties présentent un angle de conicité respectif par rapport à une ligne médiane (45) de la cavité, l'angle de conicité de la seconde partie (58) étant inférieur à l'angle de conicité de la première partie (54). L'angle de conicité de la seconde partie (58) est inférieur à 7 DEG ou un angle négatif par rapport à la ligne médiane. La seconde partie présente un bord arrondi (47) s'incurvant vers l'extérieur à partir de la cavité jusqu'à l'extrémité opposée du corps de l'ancre et affleurant à la seconde partie.
