Through-flow fluid heater tube comprising a conduit adapted to convey the fluid to be heated, an electric heating element controlled by a Triac, a related heat-sink arrangement, control circuits adapted to drive said Triac, a connection joining said electric heating element to the power-supply mains via said Triac, in which said heat-sink arrangement is applied on to the outside of said through-flow heater tube. The current regulation device is energized directly from the power-supply mains and said control and driving circuits supply a low-voltage regulating current to said current regulation device.
