When butt-welding of parts made of plastics material(s), the invention proposes correcting, according to an ambient temperature which is measured (by 45) in the environment of the parts (7, 9) at the moment of welding, at least one of the following parameters: pressure(s) for contact and/or welding of the parts, electrical energy to be supplied to means (13, 17) for displacement of the said parts, stroke(s) of relative displacement of the parts, time for obtaining beads at the end of the parts during the phase of heating the latter.

Pour le soudage bout à bout de pièces en matériaux plastiques, l'invention propose de corriger, selon la température ambiante qui est mesurée (par 45) au voisinage des pièces (7, 9) au moment du soudage, au moins l'un des paramètres suivants: la pression pour le contact et/ou le soudage des pièces, l'énergie électrique à fournir aux moyens (13, 17) utilisés pour déplacer lesdites pièces, l'amplitude du déplacement relatif des pièces, le temps nécessaire pour obtenir un cordon au bout des pièces durant la phase du chauffage.
