An improvement to a method for making cards with an electronic module is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of providing a card body (1) having a cavity (3, 4), an electronic module (5) shaped to fit said cavity, and at least one first adhesion means (12c-15c) adherable to the card body and the module, depositing at least said first adhesion means in said cavity, inserting said module into the cavity in a substantially centred position, and pressing at least said first adhesion means between the card and the module. The method further comprises a step of providing a second adhesion means (11b) which is also deposited in the cavity (3, 4). Said second adhesion means is capable of having sufficient tackiness to maintain the module (5) in a centred position in the cavity, at least until said first adhesion means has been pressed. The cards produced by carrying out the method are also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un perfectionnement à un procédé de réalisation de cartes à module électronique du type consistant à fournir un corps de carte (1) muni d'une cavité (3, 4), un module électronique (5) de dimensions correspondant à ladite cavité, au moins un premier moyen de collage (12c à 15c) apte à adhérer au corps de carte et au module, et comprenant des étapes selon lesquelles on dépose au moins ledit premier moyen de collage dans ladite cavité, on insère ledit module dans la cavité dans une position sensiblement centrée et on presse au moins ledit pemier moyen de collage entre la carte et le module. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre une étape consistant à fournir un deuxième moyen de collage (11b) que l'on dépose également dans la cavité (3, 4), ledit deuxième moyen de collage étant apte à présenter des propriétés gluantes qui soient suffisantes pour maintenir le centrage du module (5) dans la cavité au moins jusqu'à ce que ledit premier moyen de collage soit pressé. L'invention concerne également des cartes obtenues par la mise en oeuvre du procédé.
