According to the invention, on at least a part of the circumference of said joining surface (L), the thickness of the sealant layer (16) is variable in the radial direction, that is to say on its width, forming a width of variable thickness, this thickness increasing on at least a part of the width of said joining surface (L), in the direction from its outer border (Lo) towards its inner border (Li).

L'invention concerne un couvercle de contenant comprenant un anneau (2) définissant une ouverture (6), ladite ouverture (6) étant fermée par une membrane (7) du type "décollable", la membrane décollable (7) étant reliée à une surface périphérique (L) dudit anneau (2), ladite surface de liaison (L) étant délimitée par une bordure intérieure (Li) et une bordure extérieure (Lo), par l'intermédiaire d'une couche de matière (16) connue en tant que couche d'agent d'étanchéité constituant une couche de revêtement de surface dudit anneau (2)et/ou de ladite membrane décollable (7).
