The invention concerns a method for simultaneously bringing to optimal temperature and concentration an aqueous medium for attacking bauxite ore in an alumina producing installation using the Bayer process, comprising the following steps (a) to (f) which consist in: a) cooling and evaporating, in a multistage evaporation zone an aqueous medium coming from the attack containing the pregnant liquor; b) separating the tailings, precipitating the aluminium trihydroxide and recuperating the aqueous attacking medium, consisting of the decomposed liquor; c) optionally, eliminating by evaporation, in a specific evaporation section, the amount of water required and complementary to that already evaporated in phase (a); d) heating in several stages the aqueous attacking medium; e) using in each of the stages of the heating phase (d) the flash steam generated at each of the stages in the evaporation phase (a); f) heating with the live steam the aqueous attacking medium derived from the heating phase (d). the invention is characterised in that in addition to all said phases, is carried out a phase which consists in simultaneously heating and evaporating the aqueous attacking medium.
Le procédé selon l'invention pour porter simultanément à une température et à une concentration optimales un milieu aqueux destiné à l'attaque d'un minerai de bauxite dans une installation de production d'alumine selon le procédé Bayer, qui comprend les phases successives (a) à (f), dans lesquelles: a) on refroidit et évapore, dans une zone d'évaporation à détente étagée le milieu aqueux provenant de l'attaque contenant la liqueur enceinte; b) on sépare les stériles, précipite le trihydroxyde d'aluminium et récupère le milieu aqueux destiné à l'attaque, formé de la liqueur décomposée; c) éventuellement, on élimine par évaporation, dans une section d'évaporation spécifique, la quantité d'eau nécessaire et complémentaire à celle déjà évaporée dans la phase (a); d) on réchauffe en plusieurs étages le milieu aqueux destiné à l'attaque; e) on utilise dans chacun des étages de la phase de réchauffage (d) la vapeur de détente générée à chacun des étages de la phase d'évaporation (a); f) on réchauffe par de la vapeur vive le milieu aqueux destiné à l'attaque provenant de la phase de réchauffage (d); se caractérise en ce que l'on réalise en plus de toutes ces phases une phase de réchauffage et d'évaporation simultanées du milieu aqueux destiné à l'attaque.
