This invention relates to a bag for carrying sports equipment and clothing and for displaying sports equipment and clothing. Moreover, the displaying of the sports equipment and clothing facilitates the drying of those items. The bag of this invention comprises a generally rectangular panel having a top edge, a bottom edge, respective side edges, a first surface which is the interior surface of the bag, and a second surface which is the exterior surface of the bag. The panel is flexible so that the bag is foldable between a generally flat position for displaying the sports equipment and clothing in a manner which allows ready access to such items, and, after use, facilitates the drying of those items, and a folded position for carrying the bag. Releasable fasteners are associated with each respective side edge of the panel to hold the bag in the folded position. A suspension is provided, secured in an upper region of the panel from which the bag can hang downwardly in the generally flat position. In the preferred embodiment, the suspension comprises strips and associated buckles which are threaded together to form adjustable loops. These loops fit over hooks found in typical sports arena dressing rooms; the adjustability allows for non-standard spacing of the hooks. The bag includes clasps depending from its interior surface for suspending sports equipment and clothing when the bag is hanging in the generally flat position. The bag also features at least one pouch secured to the interior surface of the bag for receiving sports equipment and clothing. The pouch presents a mesh facing away from the interior surface of the bag to facilitate the drying of the sports equipment and clothing when the bag is hanging in a generally flat position.
