There is provided a hair iron (1) comprising first and second jaws (3, 5) at least one of which carries a heating element (7, 9), the jaws (3, 5) being moveable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In one embodiment the iron (1) comprises connector means for connecting to a battery unit (19) and a heating element (7, 9) of the iron is arranged to be powered by said battery unit (19).
L'invention concerne un fer à cheveux (1) comportant une première et une seconde mâchoire (3, 5) au moins l'une d'entre elles supportant un élément (7, 9), les mâchoires (3, 5) étant mobiles entre une configuration ouverte et une configuration fermée. Dans l'un des modes de réalisation, le fer (1) comprend des éléments connecteurs destinés à la connexion à une unité de batterie (19) et un élément chauffant (7, 9) du fer et disposé de manière à être alimenté par cette unité de batterie (19).
