The present invention relates to powder coating compositions and to components and ingredients for incorporation therein, suitable for fast curing schedule and with excellent resistance to outside aging. Non-isocyanurate polyepoxide cross-linking reagents can be used, provided the nature of the carboxylated polyester resin is formed of at least 30 mole % aromatic acid and the chain of the carboxyl terminated polyester also incorporates a moiety derived from 1,4 cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. The powder coating composition can be cured for 90 seconds at a temperature of 250 ~C or 55 seconds at 270 ~C or 20 seconds in an induction oven at a temperature of 300 ~C in the presence of a catalyst.
L'invention concerne des compositions de revêtement pulvérulentes et des composants et ingrédients à incorporer dans celles-ci, à utiliser pour une cadence de durcissement rapide et présentant une excellente résistance au vieillissement extérieur. Des agents de réticulation de type époxides sans isocyanurate peuvent être utilisés, étant donné que la nature de la résine polyester carboxylée est formée d'au moins 30 % molaire d'acide aromatique et que la chaîne polyester à terminaison carboxyle comprend également un fragment dérivé d'acide 1,4 cyclohexanedicarboxylique. La composition de revêtement pulvérulente de l'invention peut être chauffée pendant 90 secondes à une température de 250 °C ou 55 secondes à 270 °C ou 20 secondes dans un four à induction à une température de 300 °C en présence d'un catalyseur.
