Improvements in and relating to slew devices, more particularly to periodically or predominantly mobile vehicles comprising working gear which is adapted to slew or rotate during the course of operations for which the vehicle is intended, more particularly to means for self-levelling the upper body of such vehicle comprising working gear and/or to means for automatically locking such slew gear to prevent accidental or unintentional slewing when unattended, to vehicles comprising these systems and to component parts thereof.
