This invention relates to a fastener system, in particular a system for improving computer room security, that reduces energy con-sumption. The fastener system com-prises a fastener for fastening a first element to a second element and a sensor of any suitable form and means for activating a third element in re-sponse to a signal generated from said sensor. The sensor sends a signal that prompts the third element to act in re-sponse to the status received from the fastener. This invention is particularly useful within server racks.

L'invention concerne un système de fixation, en particulier un système destiné à améliorer la sécurité d'une salle d'ordinateurs, qui permet de réduire la consommation d'énergie. Le système de fixation comprend un élément de fixation servant à fixer un premier élément à un second élément, un capteur présentant une forme quelconque appropriée et des moyens servant à activer un troisième élément en réponse à un signal produit par ledit capteur. Le capteur envoie un signal qui déclenche une action du troisième élément en réponse à l'état reçu de l'élément de fixation. L'invention est particulièrement utile dans des bâtis de serveur.
