Fastening systems for releasably securing two components together include a tab (30) and landing members (28). In a first arrangement, a z-fold tab member has combined mechanical (44) and adhesive (40) engagement. The tab (30) includes a face stock layer (32), an adhesive layer (40), and a release means or coating (38, 42) on either side of the face stock layer (32).
