A keyway profile plug (14) for a lock barrel assembly of the type having a number of rotatable disks (24) with the combination of the lock being carried by the key and a locking bar (118) which cooperates with the disks, wherein the keyway profile plug has a longitudinal axis; a partially arcuate circumference transverse to the longitudinal axis, the circumference being adapted to support the plurality of disks and a plurality of grooves in the circumference, each groove adapted to receive spacer means. An end cap (114) for the above lock barrel assembly which is operable by a first key (134), but the cap is adapted to be released from the lock barrel assembly by use of a second key (145) but not by the first key, where the second key is converted from the first key by moveable means provided on the key.

Un embout (114) de l'ensemble barillet de serrure peut être actionné par une première clé (134), mais est conçu pour être dégagé de l'ensemble barillet de serrure par une seconde clé (145) et non par la première, cette première clé étant convertie en seconde clé par un élément amovible formé sur la clé.
