A carton and carton blank for forming a carton, and comprising first, second, third and fourth substantially four-edged panels, each comprising a side wall part (4,6,8,10), a top closure obturating part (24,26,28,30) and a top sealing fin part, one of the panels being substantially free from any line of weakness extending inwardly from lateral edge zones of the one of the panels from an outermost boundary of the side wall part (8) to an outermost boundary of the top sealing fin part. Alternatively, the one of the panels is substantially free from any line of weakness extending inwardly from lateral edge zones of the one of the panels from an innermost boundary of the top closure obturating part (28) to an outermost boundary of the top sealing fin part. A further alternative of the one of the panels being substantially free from any line of weakness extending inwardly from lateral edge zones of the one of the panels from an outermost boundary of the side wall part (8) to an outermost boundary of the top closure obturating part (28) is also disclosed where the obturating part includes a loop of weakness (44). Transition sub-panels (68,74) in the carton top closure area are also disclosed.
La présente invention se rapporte à un carton et à une ébauche de carton servant à former un carton, et comprenant des premier, deuxième, troisième et quatrième panneaux sensiblement quadrangulaire, chacun comprenant une partie paroi latérale (4,6,8,10), une partie obturation de fermeture supérieure (24,26,28,30) et une partie ailette d'étanchéité supérieure, l'un des panneaux étant pratiquement dépourvu de toute ligne de faiblesse s'étendant vers l'intérieur depuis les zones de bord latérales de l'un des panneaux partant de la limite la plus extérieure de la partie paroi latérale (8) jusqu'à la limite la plus extérieure de la partie ailette d'étanchéité supérieure. En variante, le panneau est pratiquement dépourvu de toute ligne de faiblesse s'étendant vers l'intérieur depuis les zones de bord latérales du panneau partant de la limite la plus intérieure de la partie obturation de fermeture supérieure (28) jusqu'à la limite la plus extérieure de la partie ailette d'étanchéité supérieure. L'invention décrit également une autre variante du panneau selon laquelle le panneau est pratiquement dépourvu de toute ligne de faiblesse s'étendant vers l'intérieur depuis les zones de bord latérales du panneau partant de la limite la plus extérieure de la partie paroi latérale (8) jusqu'à la limite la plus extérieure de la partie obturation de fermeture supérieure (28), la partie obturation comprenant une boucle de faiblesse (44). L'invention décrit également des sous-panneaux de transition (68,74) présents dans la zone de fermeture supérieure de carton.
