Disclosed is a chimaeric polypeptide compris- ing: a binding portion having specific binding affinity for a eukaryotic target cell surface component and an effector portion comprising an amino acid sequence capable of exerting a biological effect, whereby bind- ing of the polypeptide to the cell surface component induces internalisation of at least the effector portion so as to allow the amino acid sequence to exert its bi- ological effect, together with a vaccine comprising the chimaeric polypeptide of the invention, and a method of modulating the immune response of a human or an- imal subject.
L'invention concerne un polypeptide chimère comprenant une partie de fixation possédant une affinité de fixation spécifique pour un constituant de surface de cellule cible eucaryote et une partie effecteur comprenant une séquence amino-acide capable d'exercer un effet biologique. De ce fait, la fixation du polypeptide au constituant de surface de la cellule provoque l'internalisation d'au moins la partie effecteur, de manière à permettre à la séquence amino-acide d'exercer son effet biologique. Elle concerne également un vaccin comprenant ledit polypeptide chimère, ainsi qu'un procédé de modulation de la réponse immune chez l'animal ou chez l'homme.
