The disclosure relates to a tube coupling comprising a coupling body having a throughway open at one end to receive an end portion of the tube and having an internal cam surface tapering towards the open end is which a collet is located for looking a tube in the coupling body by engagement with the tapered cam surface. The coupling body has a main body portion the throughway of which receives the end of the tube and a stop to limit the insertion of the collet and an end cap in screw threaded engagement with the main body having an open end into the throughway and the tapered cam surface. The cap is retained on the main body by an annular diaphragm encircling the body which engages in a wide slot formed in the inner periphery of the cap. The diaphragm snaps into the slot when the cap is screwed onto the main body portion to a first position in which a tube can be inserted through the collet into the coupling body and released. The diaphragm allows the cap to be screwed further onto the coupling body to a position in which the collet is locked to the tube to prevent release of the tube.

Raccord de tuyauterie comprenant un corps de couplage doté d'un passage ouvert à l'une des extrémités pour accueillir l'une des extrémités d'un tuyau et doté d'une surface de came interne effilée vers l'extrémité ouverte; un collet permet de fixer un tuyau dans le corps de couplage en l'accouplant avec la surface de came conique. Le corps de couplage comprend un corps principal dont le passage accueille l'extrémité du tuyau et une butée pour limiter l'insertion du collet ainsi qu'un embout fileté vissé dans le corps principal doté d'une extrémité ouverte dans le passage et la surface de came conique. L'embout est retenu sur le corps principal par un diaphragme annulaire entourant le corps qui s'engage dans une large fente pratiquée dans le pourtour intérieur de l'embout. Le diaphragme s'imbrique dans la fente lorsque l'embout est vissé dans le corps principal à une première position à laquelle un tuyau peut être inséré par le collet dans le corps de couplage et libéré. Le diaphragme permet de visser l'embout plus loin dans le corps de couplage à une position à laquelle le collet est fixé dans le tuyau pour empêcher la libération du tuyau.
