The present invention relates to improvements in security substrates having security features. The security substrate comprises a fibrous base substrate and a fibrous tape incorporated therewith. The fibrous tape has at least one aperture wherein the shape of the at least one aperture is indistinct when the security substrate is viewed in reflected light, but is distinct when the security substrate is viewed in transmitted light.
L'invention concerne des substrats de sécurité améliorés présentant des caractéristiques de sécurité. Le substrat de sécurité comporte un substrat de base fibreux et une bande fibreuse intégrée au substrat. La bande fibreuse présente au moins une ouverture dont la forme est invisible lorsque le substrat de sécurité est observé dans la lumière réfléchie, mais visible lorsque le substrat de sécurité est observé dans la lumière transmise.
