The invention relates to spectacles, goggles, glasses or the like, in which each sidearm (4) is connected to the lens frame (1) by a common mechanism (5) comprising a track arrangement (6a, 6b) and slider arrangement (7a, 7b). The common mechanism provides for controlled manual adjustement, both of the length of the sidearm relative to the lens frame, and of the angle of inclination of the lens frame relative to the sidearm.
