An improved process for recovery of virus from allantoic fluid of virus- infected chick embryos. Virus associated with granular and fibrous debris in the allantoic fluid can be disassociated from the debris and recovered, thereby increasing viral yield. Dissociation can be achieved by subjecting the virus-debris complex to conditions of increased salt concentrations, e.g., 0.5 M or greater.
La présente invention concerne un processus amélioré permettant de récupérer un virus à partir d'un fluide allantoïde d'embryons de poulet infectés par un virus. Le virus associé aux débris granulaires et fibreux présents dans le fluide allantoïde peut-être dissocié de ces débris et récupéré, améliorant ainsi la production virale. Cette dissociation peut-être effectuée par la soumission du complexe virus débris à des concentrations de sel accrues, par exemple 0,5M voire au-delà.
