A patient information management system (12) for enhancing viewing of a patient's personal patient drugs record (180) is described. The system (12) comprises: communications means (50, 52, 54) arranged to receive patient drugs records (180) created at a pharmacy (14) connectable to the system (12) via a communications link (16, 20); and a database (22) of the received patient drugs records (180), each record providing personal information about the patient, which does not reveal patient identity, and being identifiable by a unique pharmacy-assigned identified (162). The communications means (50, 52, 54) is also arranged to receive support information (130) from a support organisation (36), the support information (130) comprising matching requirement data associated therewith for matching the support information (130) with a specific category of patients. The system further comprises a matching engine (72) arranged to target the support information (130) to appropriate patients by matching the requirement data with the personal patient information (188) such that any patient access tot he drugs record (180) enables provision of targeted support information to the patient.
L'invention concerne un système de gestion d'informations concernant un patient (12) destiné à améliorer le contrôle du fichier personnel des médicaments d'un patient (180). Ce système (12) comprend : des moyens de communication (50, 52, 54) adaptés de manière à recevoir des fichiers de médicaments d'un patient (180) créés dans une pharmacie (14) et pouvant être reliée au système (12) par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison de communications (16, 20), et une base de données (22) des fichiers de médicaments du patient reçus (180), chaque fichier fournissant des informations personnelles concernant le patient, ne révélant pas son identité, et pouvant être identifiées uniquement par un identificateur attitré de la pharmacie (162). Les moyens de communication (50, 52, 54) sont également conçus de manière à recevoir des renseignements complémentaires (130) d'un organisme auxiliaire (36), ces renseignements complémentaires (130) consistent à apparier les données nécessaires associées en vue d'apparier ces renseignements (130) avec une catégorie de patients spécifique. Le système de l'invention comprend, en outre, un moteur d'appariement (72) conçu de manière à orienter les renseignements complémentaires (130) vers les patients appropriés par appariement des données nécessaires avec les informations personnelles du patient (188) de sorte que chaque accès aux fichiers de médicaments (180) par un patient figure dans les renseignements complémentaires ciblés du patient.
