The invention provides that a layer (40) of hardened material is created on the surface of an underground passageway, in particular a sewer (22) so as to restore its utility and the method used is to place a first lining tube (24) in the sewer along its length, and then to evert a second tube (34), of smaller diameter, along the sewer (22) into the first tube. The novelty of the invention is to insert into the first tube (24) a fluent mass (32) against which the second tube (34) is everted and the fluent mass comprises a hardenable material, typically a synthetic resin and a solid particulate material (10), typically even diameter beads, which serves to limit the thickness to which the mass (32) can be compressed between the tubes (24, 34) whereby an even thickness layer of the fluent mass (32) lying circumferentially of the sewer (22) forms between the tubes, and this layer is held and is hardened either by forcing or by natural means.
Selon l'invention, on crée une couche (40) de matériau durci sur la surface d'un passage souterrain, en particulier un égout (22), de manière à lui restituer son utilité et le procédé qu'on utilise consiste à placer un premier tube de doublure (24) dans la longueur de l'égout, puis retourner un deuxième tube (34) de plus petit diamètre le long de l'égout (22) dans le premier tube. La nouveauté apportée par l'invention réside dans le fait qu'on introduit dans le premier tube (24) une masse fluide (32) contre laquelle le deuxième tube (34) est retourné et que cette masse fluide est constituée par un matériau durcissable, à savoir une résine synthétique et par un matériau solide en particules (10), à savoir des billes de même diamètre, qui servent à limiter l'épaisseur à laquelle la masse (32) peut être comprimée entre les tubes (24, 23), ce qui permet de créer entre les tubes une couche d'épaisseur régulière de la masse fluide (32) s'étendant sur la circonférence de l'égout (22), cette couche étant maintenue et durcie, soit en la forçant, soit par des moyens naturels.
