The invention concerns a method for calefaction densification of a porous structure (mixed liquid-gas process) (5) which consists in immersing the porous structure in a liquid precursor, for example a hydrocarbon, and in heating the whole assembly to deposit the product for decomposition of said liquid precursor, for example of carbon, in the pores of said porous structure. The invention is characterised in that it consists in reducing the flow rate of liquid precursor penetrating into the porous structure, for example by means of a polytetrafluoroethylene filter (52) enclosing the structure, so as to reduce the vaporization phenomena of the liquid precursor around the porous structure to be densified.
L'invention concerne un procédé de densification par caléfaction d'une structure poreuse (procédé mixte gaz-liquide) (5) consistant à immerger la structure poreuse dans un précurseur liquide, par exemple un hydrocarbure, et à chauffer l'ensemble pour déposer le produit de décomposition dudit précurseur liquide, par exemple du carbone, dans les pores de la structure poreuse, caractérisé en ce que l'on réduit le débit de précurseur liquide entrant dans la structure poreuse, par exemple au moyen d'un filtre (52) en polytétrafluoroéthylène entourant la structure, de façon à réduire le phénomène de vaporisation du précurseur liquide autour de la structure poreuse à densifier.
