An impulse generator (1) for a percussive tool includes a chamber (3) for receiving a liquid volume and an impulse piston (4) which is arranged for transferring pressure pulses in the liquid volume into stress wave pulses in the tool. The chamber (3) is adapted with respect to its shape such that it forms a resonance chamber for liquid in the liquid volume for forming at least one pressure antinode (11,15,17) inside the chamber. The invention also concerns a method and a hydraulic impulse tool.
La présente invention concerne un générateur d'impulsions (1) pour outil à percussion qui comprend une chambre (3) destinée à contenir un volume de liquide et un piston à impulsion (4) servant à transformer les impulsions de pression dans le volume de liquide en impulsions d'onde d'effort dans l'outil. La chambre (3) possède une forme spéciale qui permet de créer une chambre de résonance pour le liquide et de créer au moins un ventre de pression (11,15,17) à l'intérieur de la chambre. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'impulsions et un outil à impulsion à commande hydraulique.
