A mobile telecommunication system with Base Transceiver Stations (BTS1-3) coupled to a mobile terminal (MT) via a radio link and exchanging mobile information (AAL-SDU: MUD, MSI) with a telecommunication controller (TC: BSC1-2; MSC). The mobile information contains a telecommunication signaling, such as an hand-over command (HOCOM), e.g. to be transported to the telecommunication controller. According to the ITU recommendation for the ATM Adaptation Layer AAL of the type 2 or 5, the AAL-PDU packets, which may for instance be transported by ATM cells, and wherein the mobile information is mapped, include a User-to-User indication field CPS-UUI or CPCS-UU, respectively, that transparently transports user data. This field is used to transport the telecommunication signaling in the up-link connection to a Base Station Controller (BSC1-2) or to a Mobile Services switching center (MSC), or, in the down-link connection, to base transceiver station (BTS1-3). The circuit (SARS1-2) which extracts this telecommunication signaling is relatively simple since the location of this signaling in the packet is well known because it corresponds tothe location of the user-to-user indication field. There is thus no need, for the circuit (SARS1-2) receiving a packet, to search for the telecommunication signaling in the whole packet received.

Système de télécommunication mobile à stations émettrices-réceptrices de base (BTS1-3) couplées à un terminal mobile (MT) par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison radio et échangeant de l'information (AAL-SDU: MUD, MSI) avec un contrôleur de télécommunication (TC: BSC1-2; MSC). L'information précitée comprend une information de signalisation, telle qu'une commande de transfert (HOCOM), destinée p. ex. au contrôleur de télécommunication. Conformément à la recommandation de l'UIT relative à la couche d'adaptation ATM (AAL) du type 2 ou 5, les paquets AAL-PDU, qui peuvent par exemple être acheminés par des cellules ATM, et où l'information mobile est mappée, comprennent un champ d'indication d'usager à usager CPS-UUI ou CPCS-UU, respectivement, qui achemine en transparence les données d'utilisateur. Ce champ est utilisé pour acheminer l'information de signalisation de télécommunications sur la liaison ascendante vers un contrôleur de station de base (BSC1-2) ou un centre de commutation de services mobiles (MSC), ou, sur la liaison descendante, à la station émettrice-réceptrice de base (BTS1-3). Le circuit (SARS1-2) qui extrait cette information de signalisation de télécommunication est relativement simple étant donné que l'emplacement de cette information de signalisation dans le paquet est bien connu parce qu'il correspond à l'emplacement du champ d'indication d'usager à usager. Il n'est donc pas nécessaire que le circuit (SARS1-2) recevant un paquet recherche l'information de signalisation dans tout le paquet reçu.
