An in-mold decorated molded product, wherein coated layers covering the edge parts thereof adjacent to the side faces thereof on which the traces of side gates are formed are formed on at least the upper surface of a transparent molded resin body so that the traces of the side gates are not visible from the upper surface side, and decorative layers are formed on the surface of the transparent molded resin body on the opposite sides of the coated layers. Thus, even if the molded resin body is transparent and the traces of the side gates cannot be neatly treated, the unattractively looking traces of side gates are made invisible and the designability thereof can be maintained.

Cette invention se rapporte à un produit moulé décoré dans le moule, dans lequel des couches revêtues couvrant ses parties de bord adjacentes à ses faces latérales, sur lesquelles apparaissent les traces d'entrées latérales, sont formées au moins sur la surface supérieure d'un corps de résine moulé transparent, pour que les traces des entrées latérales ne soient pas visibles depuis le côté de la surface supérieure, et des couches décoratives sont formées sur la surface du corps de résine moulé transparent sur les côtés opposés des couches revêtues. Ainsi, même si le corps de résine moulé est transparent et que les traces des entrées latérales ne peuvent pas être traitées de façon franche, les traces inesthétiques des entrées latérales sont rendues invisibles et leur aptitude à l'élaboration peut être maintenue.
