The invention relates to an in vitro diagnostic test for enterovirus, based on the development of an immunological reaction of the type of an antigen-antibody recognition, using antigens or epitopes of the above which do not induce neutralising anti-viral antibodies but which induce facilitating antibodies which increase the viral infection.

L'invention concerne un test de diagnostic in vitro d'entérovirus, basé sur la révélation d'une réaction immunologique de type reconnaissance antigène- anticorps, mettant en oeuvre des antigènes ou des épitopes de ceux-ci qui n'induisent pas d'anticorps antiviraux neutralisants mais qui induisent des anticorps "facilitants" qui augmentent l'infection virale.
