In vitro method and kit for prognosis or prediction of response to treatment with TNF-alfa factor blocking agents by patients with rheumatoid arthritis, comprising determination of a blood sample from said patients of the degree of expression of at least one of the eight genes selected from the group: HLA-DRB3, EAT2, GNLY, CAMP, SLC2A3, IL2RB, MXD4 and TLR5 or combinations thereof, and comparison of said degree of expression with respect to the values of expression obtained from patients responding to the treatment and not responding thereto.

L'invention concerne un procédé in vitro et une trousse pour le pronostic ou la prédiction de la réponse au traitement par des agents bloquants du facteur TNFa de patients souffrant de polyarthrite rhumatoïde, comprenant la détermination dans un prélèvement sanguin desdits patients du niveau d'expression d'au moins un des huit gènes sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué par : HLA-DRB3, EAT2, GNLY, CAMP, SLC2A3, IL2RB, MXD4 et TLR5 ou des combinaisons de ces gènes et la comparaison dudit niveau d'expression avec les valeurs d'expression obtenues de patients répondant au traitement et de patients n'y répondant pas.
