A device for providing in vivo diagnostics of loads, wear, and infection in orthopedic implants having at least one load sensor associated with the implant, at least one temperature sensor associated with the implant, at least one vibration sensor associated with the implant, and at least one signal processing device operatively coupled with the sensors. The signal processing device is operable to receive the output signal from the sensors and transmit a signal corresponding with the output signal.
L'invention concerne un dispositif servant à diagnostiquer in vivo des charges exercées sur des implants orthopédiques, l'usure d'implants orthopédiques, et une infection dans des implants orthopédiques. Le dispositif selon l'invention comprend au moins un capteur de charge qui est associé à l'implant, au moins un capteur de température qui est associé à l'implant, au moins un capteur de vibration qui est associé à l'implant, et au moins un dispositif de traitement de signaux qui est couplé de manière fonctionnelle auxdits capteurs. Le dispositif de traitement de signaux peut être commandé de manière à recevoir le signal de sortie des capteurs, et transmettre un signal correspondant au signal de sortie.
