Abstract A multiple positionable selector arrangement for a bolt action firearm positionable adjacent the bolt handle which selector carries a cam and a selector handle. Associated with the selector are trigger restraining means and a bolt handle blocking plunger means. The selector arrangement is movable to a first active position to cause the trigger restraining means to restrain the trigger and sear so the firearm cannot be discharged and the selector arrangement is movable to a second active position to cause the plunger means to restrain the bolt handle. In the second position, the selector handle also serves to prevent substantial forward movement of the cocking piece.
