INCANDESCENT ELECTRIC LAMP WITH ETALON TYPE TRANSPARENT HEAT MIRROR Abstract of the Disclosure An incandescent lamp utilizing an etalon type trans- parent heat mirror formed by three film layers of an insulator sandwiched between two metals on the lamp envelope for trans- mitting radiation in the visible range produced by the lamp filament and reflecting infrared thermal radiation back to the filament for increasing its temperature and thereby increasing its efficiency.
