The present invention comprises an incense candle which comprises a candle wax, an incense ingredient, and a coupling agent, wherein the incense ingredient is diffused into the atmosphere upon combustion of the wax. The coupling agent is present to enable the incense to be properly solubilized into the wax, and other commonly employed candle additives may be present if desired.
