Abstract Interpolymers of polyvinyl chloride and imide polymers which have polar groups may be produced by polymerizing viIlyl chloride in the presence of a polyimide. The resulting interpolymers have shown improved processing characteristics, when compared with conventional mechanical-blends of polyvinyl chloride and polyimide polymers. IR 880323
