The efficiency of multiple downcomer fractional distillation trays is improved by distributing the liquid egressing from the bottom of the downcomers (31) in a manner which provides a uniform length liquid flow path on the next lower tray. This is accomplished by liquid distribution devices (7) suspended below the downcomers of the upper tray (1), with the devices running parallel to the downcomers of the next lower tray (2) and being adapted to collect the falling liquid and then disperse it onto the decking below along the length of the lower downcomers through openings (10) in the distribution device (7).
La présente invention concerne l'amélioration de l'efficacité de multiples plateaux de distillation fractionnée à goulottes, par distribution du liquide issu du fond des goulottes d'une manière permettant un passage de flux de liquide de longueur uniforme sur le plateau inférieur suivant. A cet effet sont utilisés des dispositifs de distribution de liquide suspendu en-dessous des goulottes du plateau supérieur, lesdits dispositifs s'étendant parallèlement aux goulottes du plateau inférieur suivant et étant conçus pour recueillir le liquide descendant et pour le répandre sur la plate-forme inférieure sur la longueur des goulottes inférieures via des ouvertures pratiquées dans le dispositif de distribution.
