ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE : For increasing the dielectric strength in metal electrodes, particularly in parts of the electrodes around which there prevail inhomogeneous electrical fields with uncon- trollable electrical field strength, a layer of resin with a dielectric constant which is high in comparison with the dielec- tric constant of transformer oil is applied to the electrode by means of electrostatic spraying.
