Systems, methods, and/or techniques ("tools") for incrementally updating and formatting high-definition digital versatile disk (HD-DVD) markup are described herein. The tools may receive first markup representing a first scene description to be read from a HD-DVD, and may map the first markup into a first area composite for presentation to a user. The tools may then receive second markup representing a second scene description to be read from the HD-DVD. In response to receiving the second markup, the tools may incrementally remap a portion of the first scene description into a second area composite for presentation to the user.
L'invention concerne des systèmes, des procédés et/ou des techniques ("outils") pour mettre à jour et formater de manière progressive les balises d'un disque numérique polyvalent de haute densité (DVD-HD). Les outils peuvent recevoir une première balise représentant une première description de scène à lire sur un DVD-HD, et peut mapper la première balise dans une zone composite pour la présenter à un utilisateur. Les outils peuvent ensuite recevoir une seconde balise représentant une seconde description d'une scène pouvant être lue sur le DVD-HD. En réponse à la réception de la seconde balise, les outils peuvent remapper progressivement une partie de la première description de scène pour produire une seconde zone composite afin de la présenter à l'utilisateur.
