ABSTRACT The invention relates to an incubator for babies. It is of special value for the treatment of premature infants as an intensive care unit. It comprises a cradle surrounded by a housing with two movable curved panes, with means for establishing a curtain of pretreated air. Advantageously there is also provided a unit with means for illumination and for IR radiation heating. The structure is provided with convenient access means and various accessories required for an intensive care unit.
