An index sheet or divider (10) which may be accommodated by and directly printed upon by a conventional printer. The index sheet (10) includes a main body portion (12) and a foldable index tab portion (16). The index tab portion (16) is transformable into a configuration allowing the index tab sheet (10) to controllably pass through a printer. After printing, the index tab portion (16) is transformable into another configuration allowing it to stand out, identify, separate, or otherwise distinguish documents or items with which one or more index sheets (10) are kept. When completed, the index tab portion (16) has back-to-back printable surfaces (40, 42).

L'invention concerne un feuille index ou un intercalaire (10) pouvant passer dans une imprimante classique et pouvant recevoir une impression directe. La feuille index (10) comporte une partie corps principal (12) et une partie onglet pliant (16). La partie onglet (16) peut être transformée selon une configuration permettant à la feuille index (10) de passer de manière contrôlée dans une imprimante.
