This index tab for a divider sheet or a file folder includes first and second panels folded against each other and attached to the sheet so that the tab includes a first pocket portion extending a relatively short distance outwardly from the sheet margin and a second pocket portion extending inwardly a substantially greater distance from the sheet margin. The index tab includes a closed end defined by the fold line and an open end, disposed opposite the closed end, the open end receiving an insert which may extend substantially the full length of the index tab.

Cette invention concerne un onglet de séparateur ou de chemise formé d'un premier et d'un second panneaux repliés l'un contre l'autre et fixés à une feuille de façon que l'onglet présente une première pochette de largeur relativement petite par rapport à la feuille qui en est munie et une seconde pochette qui chevauche ladite feuille sur une largeur sensiblement plus grande. L'onglet comporte une extrémité fermée définie par la ligne de pliage et une extrémité ouverte, opposée à la première extrémité, ladite extrémité ouverte recevant un insert qui peut faire sensiblement toute la longueur de l'onglet.
